This course is designed to train qualified
individuals as supervisory personnel. In this role Divemaster may either over
see general diving activities or survey as an underwater guide. Divemaster
training consists of three phases or modules that include; Weatherman ship and
Skill Assessment, Knowledge Development and Practical Application.
Weatherman ship and Skill Assessment. This
training module is designed to evaluate candidate ability (and if necessary,
provide remedial training) in several important area of skill. It consists of
four fashioned are; Weatherman ship and Stamina, General Diving skills, Problem
Solving and Diver Rescue Skills.
Knowledge Development. It is an academic training
with the purpose to help the Divemaster candidate develop the knowledge beside
necessary to fulfill his duties. Contain within this section are performance
requirement and presentation outlines for the following topics; Dive Planning,
Dive management & Control Supervising students in training, Physics, Physiology,
Equipment, Skill & environment, and Recreational Dive Planner.
Particle Application. Designed to enable the
candidate tot put into practice knowledge gained concerning how to plan, manage
and control diving activities. It consists of two training options; Option A
(practical exercise) and Option B (internship) including underwater map, Pool
skill overview and practice. The role of Divemaster in confined water session.
The role of the Divemaster in open water training two open water session, and
the role of the Divemaster in non-training activities (two open water session).
